Diamond Hire is a general tool hire company operating in London SW2. Formed in 1980 it
quickly smoothed a name for itself as a specialist floor sanding equipment hire company.
Right from the start, we bought for hire German-made machines (Lagler, the most famous floor
sanding machine in the world).Although our machines are far more expensive than those used by some other hire companies, our hire charges are very competitive. We now have no less than twenty-six sanders on fleet, all beautifully maintained and ready to go. We have a field of knowledge acquired over the last twenty-five years to pass on to our customers to make their job easier and error free. With our machines and advice you will get a far superior result. We offer the full range of easy to operate machines: from the 8" drum floor sander (the 'Profit') - ideal for DIY and light trade use (uses continuous non tear cloth sanding belts); to the 'Hummel' floor sander with a 12" drum for trade use. We offer edging sanders designed to reach under radiators right up to the skirting (both rotating disc and orbital types). We also offer the amazing three disc 'Trio' sanding machine for the ultimate table-top quality finish whether on an unfinished or pre-finished wooden floor. We also supply sanders for stairs. All sanders have dust bags to minimise the dust in the air. To make your floor the envy of others we can supply all the sanding disc and belts you will need in all "grits" (from extra course to super fine), plus all the colour washes, dyes, waxes, sealers and varnishes (in satin mat or gloss, quick drying or water based), and all safety equipment. Satisfied customers are our best advertisement. They have been spreading the Diamond Hire floor-sanding message without us doing any advertising until we started this web site in 2005. Our machines are suitable for wood or cork floors(even artificial mats and running tracks), poured resin, granwood blocks and sheet metal. They can be used for parquet floors, old or new floor boards, engineered wood and solid wood floors, sub-floor preparation, removal of glue felt and carpet residues, mastic, filler, resin and paint layer, plus wax application and polishing. We can deliver and collect floor sanding machines and consumables in the London area. Our sanding belts, discs, varnishes etc are all supplied on a sale or return basis so you won't run out half way through. Ring us to discuss your needs, although we can deliver the machines and all the other things you will need, you will still have to call in to our shop to leave a deposit, two forms of address ID, sign the hire contract and be given invaluable advice/instruction. |
